New Computer Internet scrolling Problems

Hello, just installed my new packard bell computer. The problem is when im on the internet and scrolling down a page, instead of a smooth action, it jumps and displays 4 to 6 horizontal lines. It does the same on Firefox and Internet Explorer. In both browsers the option for smooth scrolling is on but makes no difference. Any ideas please post, Thanks in Advance!

Hi danny,

I had the same problem,what i did is changed the screen resalution to 1024-768, to do this Click Start, Control Panel, Display, Settings.

Hope this helps.

If you are using the scroll wheel on your mouse, you can change the way it operates in the mouse settings (either in control panel, or you may have a mouse icon in your system tray).

No sorry these didnt help as my screen res in 1024-768.
Any Other ideas?
