I'm having problems playing CD's on my computer, windows media player, iTunes and the my computer do not recognise that there is a CD in there?
When I put a CD in it makes the noise like it is reading the disc but nothing happens.
Any ideas as to what the problem is?

However, you can try one thing. Right-click on My Computer and go to Properties. Click on Hardware then Device manager. Find your CD drive and completely remove/uninstall it. Shut down Windows, restart and let Windows find your CD drive again. If that doesn't work then it might be time to splash out!
(This can also be done from Control Panel, System, Device Manager)
