My computer went for a while without an anti-virus system (due to some clumsy mistake where it was deleted, duh!). So all sorts of viruses started getting in, like trojan etc. Now that I have a anti virus (Mcafee) and a firewall, I've managed to block further viruses from coming in, and the anti-virus scanner, that I've also got seems to have gotten rid of most of the viruses. However there are still some viruses in the system that I can't seem to delete and, I fear, they're trying to disrupt it again. Does anyone know how to get rid, and can these remaining viruses get out and do something to my computer?

Yeah, thanks for the answer 10ClarionSt. You're right about registering on the net. It didn't occur to me before. I think thats why I couldn't get rid of some of the viruses because a newer version of Mcafee was needed!
If you think that there is still some virusesyou can use Norton, AVG , Avast. They are widely used antivirus
software. You can download these
