Do We Ever Really Care Who Lived In Our...

Sometimes when I am online and trying to open a web page or download an attachment my computer is extremely slow. I have a broadband connection with a speed of 2.3 Mbpps. My harddrive is in good order with only 17.6GB of space used and 75.4GB of free space. I regularly clean my C drive by running a Disc Cleanup and I keep my Recycle Bin empty. I also regularly check if my hard drive needs to be Defragged. Why do I get slow response times and is there anything I can do to improve?

see this for info on how this works.
Could be a corrupt cached temp internet file or registry entry.
Try CCleaner from here http://www.ccleaner.com/ It's free, very easy to use and has been used by many on other PC forums. The download is on the bottom right of the webpage.
Also try Rgseeker from http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm again this is free, works well and has been used by many
Confab
Also ad-Aware is good from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/
Again it's free and does an exellent job of removing spyware etc
