Record voice over internet on the computer

If you are using Yahoo Messenger to talk to another computer user over the net, is it possible to record the conversation on your computer?

i have not tried it but this should do it because it records what would come out of the speakers. used it to take some speech from a dvd

One other thing -
although I'm not 100% sure -
I think it's illegal to record a telephone conversation without the other participants consent.

It would seem you can record a call in your home ONLY if no other party will hear it.
Otherwise you have to let the person you are calling know you are recording.

It's just something to be aware of if you're going to do this.....
