I currently pay GBP 25.00 a month for 2mb broadband from cable.

I know there are better deals out there, but was wondering if anyone had any recommendations, i.r wanadoo, bulldog ....

have a look at telewest or NTL's offers. I've never had a problem with telewest, and most haven't with NTL either (though I know some have, but this is the same with most ISPs - they're not perfect).

telewest for example offer the basic TV package (more channels than freeview though), 2Mb broadband, and a phone package for �30/month. I believe NTL offer a very similar one too.

I have Tiscali 2.3mb broadband which includes free weekend calls and weekday calls at 1p per hour. Mobile rates are also discounted. I never have to pay more than �19 a month but line rental from BT is extra. I've had no problems with Tiscali at all, recommended.

Like morrisonker, I would recommend Tiscali,I have 2.3mb broadband unlimited use for 15.99 per month,it does not include the line rental to BT,but as I do most of my communicating on line with email or MSN it's quite a good deal.

im with wanadoo but wouldnt recommend them.in my experience the customer services are appalling and recently when my line went down,the 1st thing I did was ring them for a status check to be greeted by a recently recorded message telling me that all was fine.so i thought i had a technical issue - but they wont talk to you if youve changed your equipment ! Anyhoo,turns out that it was my line that was at fault so the status checker is utterly useless.

i am moving to plus.net who have been highly recommended to me.
