they were given to customers in the 80s so that they could bank online (you basically held it over the mouthpiece and it send tones) when we only had the old fashioned pulse dial phones

i know old style phones are 'in' and i wondered if i should put it on ebay for a quid or two?

i was going to bin it but i hate throwing things out

also what would i call it if i did put it on ebay?

thanks

Its a touch tone generator. Old style phones may be 'in' but they are only old style. They still work by tones. The old dial type phones don't work with modern STD exchanges. Having said that, someone will definately buy it on ebay.
