Isohunt

My friend has just downloaded Lost series 2 from Isohunt and does not know how to view it. I'm not into this and have no idea. Anyone any ideas?

what format are the files in ? also , at best hes only downloaded the 1st 14 epsiodes.

pc will probably play the files but if you want to watch on a dvd player you must convert and burn them to video dvd - I use 'nero vision express' it's brilliant.

I also use Isohunt, and you will probably find that each episode is made up of lots of little files called .rar files.If this is the case, then your friend needs to download a program called WinRar, and then use it to extract the files.This will then create one large file which you should then be able to burn to DVD, or view using Windows Media Player.

the above is all assuming that they've used the .torrent file from isohunt to get the actual video files.

bloodycheap, how long did it take him to download the stuff? Did he say that he used bitTorrent or something to download?

ok, so at least he's got the .rar files then (or whatever format they came in)

as teak says then, either get winRAR, or the free 7-zip.
