sony dcr camera

I've been given the job of recording our school's Arts Week on a sony dcr pc-130e camera with no manual. Can I copy the recordings from the tape to my computer for editing and compiling into a reasonable presentation. Or will I be stuck with copying to VHS? (not very impressive )

Steve don't know about all that techno stuff but when i lost my manual 4 the tv i looked up panasonic on the internet, went to there web site and was able to print off a copy their & then,no fanny no fuss. U know the maker & it sounds like U no the model so it'll be a piece of **** to get another manual
