address on home page

on my home page of the internet how do i delete items on my address bar.when i click on it, it drops down with 4 addresses i want to delete 3 of them any ideas please

Click on history near the top of the page (little clock with arrow), then right click, delete which ones you don't want anymore.

this is quite tricky depending on your confidence.here goes....Start - Run, then type regedit, click ok.....click on HKEY_CURRENT _USER, click on software......click on microsoft....click on internet explorer, last folder will be typed URL's select from the right hand side and then delete....good look...
