This morning I switched on my mobile phone, but although the bleeps and light were there..absolutely nothing on the screen. Does anyone know if this is repairable, or is it time to buy a new one? Thank you.

intresting..

What make/model is the phone and how old is it?

Is the battery fully charged?

Can you see any cracks on the screen?

It's most probably the screen has cracked. Even if it only cracks a little bit, the whole screen goes.

Try contacting manufacturer. If you dont know the number email me: [email protected] and i will give you it.

Thanks leighj.

It's 4 years old approx - Siemens A50. The battery is kept fully charged and the condition is almost new as it's only used as a standby phone. It's rarely switched off, but on the one occasion I did ...no screen.

leighj - email addresses aren't allowed on AB so the Ed might do a bit of editing .
