The PS3 may not even be out in the UK this year. When it does come it is likley to be in the 300 mark.

You can pick a PS2 up for about 100, and buy second hand games from shops like "Game" so you will have at least a year of playing which seems good value to me.

yeah i would say worth buying for a years worth - you can always go and exchange it for a sum at game for the ps3

alternatively sell it on e-bay but try and sell it maybe a month or two before the ps3 is launched or there may be a flood of ps2's around that time

very doubtful that the ps3 will hit these shores even in the next 12 months and its price in my opinion will be well in excess of 300 perhaps costing as much as 400+ especially when you consider that it runs on blu-ray and the 1st dedicated blu-ray players are released soon priced at $1000 !

microsoft tricked sony big-time into thinking that they needed to go ultra-powerful with this console and they will suffer financially as they will lose much more money per console than microsoft do.

Save ya Money up and get a Xbox 360, 3rd generation gaming available now. Do it, you wont regret it. Plus they are available now in most high street shops.
