Internet explorer keyboard settings

For some reason, my keyboard now mixes up " and @.

This only started an hour ago and it only does it on Internet Explorer. Any ideas how I can rectify it?

Suppose you have tried turning off and back on again...the old standby that cures almost everything.

Check in Control Panel that you are on UK settings if you have a UK keyboard.

right click on taskbar, select toolbars-language bar and it should say "EN" If it doesn't double click EN and change it to English UK instead of American

then do the same as camioneur says. I didn't really read though, this is what tellboy said already.
