installing older programms

i am on windows xp and my daughter got a cd called babyz which will not play on xp , she used to have it on windows 98. i wondered if there was any way to make it work

Go to Programmes/Accessories/Programme Compatability Wizard.

Or simply right click on the programme, properties tab, compatibily and tick the box "run this 'program' in compatibility..." and select 98.
