Put it this way, I have

2x 1gb pc3200 ram

Amd athalon 64 processor 3400, 2.46ghz

Radeon 9550 512mb graphics

4 case fans, 2 of which are lighted

1 cpu fan

internal 4 card reader

case lighting

2 hard drives

2 dvd drives

1 fan speed controller

6 usb

1 floppy

and a 400w power supply is plenty for me.

500w will be fine with room for approximately another 80w with ease. That's over-estimating on what information you have provided so being a tad cautious.

Hope that helps.

I have a 3.06 Ghz Pentium IV, I GB Ram, 2 x 160 GB hard drives, 1 DVD & 2 x CD RW, 1 fan, 6 USB, 512 MB graphics card, tv card, DVR card, RAID card.

I run my pc 24 / 7 and it has a 350W power supply (been running just under 2 years)
