laptop keyboards (acer)

hello there...

does anyone know where i could get a cheap replacement keyboard for an acer travelmate 240? i spilt cranberry juice on mine and i really can't afford �75 for a new one, which is the cheapest price i've found online.

You could buy a cheap keyboard for 5 or 10 pounds and plug it in the USB slot.

Unfortunately you may have done more than just damage your keyboard. The "juice" may have run through the keyboard and on the the motherboard underneath. The liquid may start rotting some components.

I spilt a glass of milk on my company laptop a year or so back and since the I have learnt NEVER EAT OR DRINK FOOD ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR LAPTOP.

If you have food or drink put it well away from your laptop, even on the floor.
