I have just deleted my Olympus XD card and recovered it OK to test it. You need to be fairly knowledgeable about what Drive letter the card is when plugged into your PC and where you want it recovered to i.e "My Documents"
I was interested in the responses to this problem that can happen all too easily! Been there, done that and got the red face to prove it. Is there any way back if you HAVE usd the camera since..I presume NOT? Also..the PC Inspector Smart Recovery 4.44 is a super programme but where do you put the memory card if you don't have a slot in the laptop...can you attach the camera instead, as when you read off your pics?
