when i worked in the cable industry Corning only manufactured the fibre optics .The fibre was then made into cable by cable manufactures

Prysmian, is the biggest manufacturer of them all.
Well if have asked about fiber optic cables, let me you if you planning to install one or going to recommend someone then you must also consider a tool, called "attenuator", used to control the speed fiber optic cables. without this tool, i think the use of fiber optic cable would be incomplete.
