Different rates of batteries
Can someone please explain the difference in the numbers that are on the side of rechargeable batteries?
My digital camera eats batteries, and was wondering if the higher the number, the longer they last?

See if your camera can take lithium batteries, particularly the CRV3 type. The non-rechargeables can last for 400 photos and usually cost about 9 to 12 each! but look here:-

Maplin make a rechargeable one (including charger) for about 19 - well worth it.
Side note: The lithium-ion proprietary batteries do last longer, so the next time you're in the market for a digital camera, don't get one that uses AA's unless you have to.
