For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I think you might be missing a stage in the process - MIDI isn't a recording of free audio, it's a way of storing the data of the actual playing, and every time the PC plays it back, it replicates the original sound from the data.
You might need to convert it to a WAV file or similar before you will be able to burn it to CD.
