Can anyone help. I have several price-lists with reference numbers of products in no particular order and would like to be able to enter a product reference number and bring up the details for that products. At the moment I have to gp through each price-list and as they are not in numeretical order, it is quite task - especially if someone phones to ask the price of a certain item. I have been told that I need to buy a programme(?) for my XP to do this at a minimum cost of 170. However, at the same time I was told this, I got an e-mail offering Microsoft Office 2003 at $70.US As there is obviously a lot of difference between 170 and around 45. Can anyone tell me if it is safe to buy one of these to download over the net and save a lot of money.

DO NOT buy one of these spam deals - you will get a lot more spam and you will never see your product.

Try openoffice (a free version of Microsoft office). You really need a database (Access) or Excel
