PC picture/sound on LCD tv ?
I have just bought an LCD TV and want to use it as a secondary display for my pc.I know which cables I need to carry audio and sound but what I dont know is where the options are in the pc to turn a 2nd display on - or do these appear after a 2nd cable is plugged in ?
Any advice apreciated - thanks.

I'd recomend downloading some software to help with the configuration, check with the website of your grahics card manufacturer. I use Nvidia Twinview, and any full motion video runs fullscreen on the second monitor automatically, so you can continue to use the PC whilst someone is watching the video output.
I think its now incorparated into their Nview software.
Once connected, right click your desktop, select properties, then display, and their are wizards and tips to help you from there on in.
Another tip for ya, disable screensavers and windows sound outputs...
So you dont get annoying 'clicks' and 'boings' and picture freezing interupting your enjoyment.
