Connect video player to computer

Helli. Can a vhs player be connected to a desktop computer? I don't have a television but would like to watch my old videos if possible.

You can buy a pc/tv card which is put into the computer and can then plug the video lead into the back of it.
like this for eg (long link). Fairly easy to fit with a bit of computer knowledge. You would of course have to buy a tv license (if you are in the UK)
