I have one and they're OK if you're not a real coffee gourmet and you don't use it on a regular - i.e. daily or greater - basis. If so I would spend the extra �50-100 and get a Krups.
To Be specific - the filter is not great and you will occassionally get coffee grounds finding their way through, the espresso it produces does not have as smooth a finish as one from, say, Starbucks, because it is forcing regular boiing water through and not high pressure steam/water, the general buld quality is fair but I would expect to need new parts after a year or two of continuous use. Good value for money but you get what you pay for...
