Hi i understand about mp3 and wma can someone tell me what a

SUPER VIDEO CD is used for also what is the diffrence if i make a MP3 CD OR A MP3 DVD is it just to do with the amount of music i can store on the disc. My friend give me a disk with a lot of music on it that was on a dvd disc my dvd player wont read it but my computer will ??

svcd is used to store films to disc to be played on a compatible dvd player. not all can play svcd. an mp3 dvd is basically the same as an mp3 cd only more space is available ergo more music. your dvd player may not be compatible with the type of dvd that your friend gave you. some cannot play dvd-r but can play dvd+r for example

it fits more data because the laser burns deeper on a dvd than a cd same for a audio cd and mp3 cd as the mp3 is burned 2 level 3 of the cd hence mp3

and yor dvd player wont pick up a DATA dvd as the compression is 2 tight for yor dvd player laser 2 read
