I am currently in the process of switching my ISP for a cheaper & faster service with another provider. So far I have cancelled my existing account and signed up online with another company. The new provider has emailed me telling me that its has been deleayed due to Incompatable products on the line, is this because I already have broadband with somebody else, that i am waiting to expire? They also told me to call BT 150 to find out what it was and get it removed, but when I call 150 i got a message saying 'I can't call 150 from my phone' My phone bills come from the post office.

Any idea's whats wrong? Any advice I will be most greatful for.

The post office thing could be your problem. Do you have a piece of equipment on your line that routes your calls through the Post Office?

Not that i know of. its still a bt line at the end of the day, my bill just comes from the post office instead of bt. There was never a problem before on BB, it's just since i've been trying to migrate.
It is my understanding that if you change ISP whilst still retaining original address and telephone number then it is necessary to get a migration code/certificate from the previous ISP. So you will need to speak to your original ISP in order to obtain this.
