Trouble playing a game

Why would a game cause my computer to crash and display a blue screen saying dumping physical memory when my machines spec is way above the minimim for the game.? My graphics card is 64meg Geforce4. The game is Cricket 2002 and no my computer is not just bored. !

Games are notorious for upsetting computers. Check if you have the latest drivers for the video and sound card, the latest DirectX, OS service pack, check whether the game developer has released a "patch" or whether someone else has your problem (and subsequent fix) on the game's message board. Interestingly, the screen memory dump will give an indication of which driver has caused the "invalid error" or whatever (eg nvidia.dll has caused...) so if you post the first few line it would be more helpful.
