Are there any good and easy DVD burning software packages other then Nero. I dislike nero, i know its popular and easy to use... but i'd like something just as easy but different.

thanks wendyl i'll take a look.
You should become familiar with Google. DVDShrink is a program that compacts video DVDs to fit onto a standard DVD-R. It doesn't burn the DVDs (as far as I'm aware), and it is only for video DVDs.

Any reason why you don't like Nero? I've used Nero for many years now, and never had a problem with it.
I haven't seen a recent version of Nero, but the versions I have seen have been a bit clunky. I quite like Roxio's equivalent, though again haven't seen the current version.

thanks guys.

I wasn't sure about dvdshrink... hence the question marks. But i'm not that keen on nero because i had real problems installing it once and the helpdesk was an absolute waste of space, kinda put me off them.

I've done alot of surfng and it looks like 1 click dvd copy is the way forward.

Using Nero is easier if you use the Nero StartSmart interface but Ashampoo's Burning Studio is one of the easiest.

Look in the 'supermarket cheap racks' for select: CD/DVD burner - only just less than a tenner.
