Web pages jumping

Since this afternoon every time I load a web page, it seems to bounce a couple of times just prior to loading and then settles as the page is done. It also does this when refreshing the same page.
My browser is Firefox. Is it the browser or my computer graphics
causing this and what can I do to fix this?
