Hope someone can help when i plug in a USB device to the computer it freezes i have no control over computer i have to swich it off at the wall and start again if USB is plugged in before start up everything is ok.Just cant change USB device.Hope someone can help

sounds like your usb port could be damaged in some way. we have a usb that trips the computer out if we attempt to use it.

you can use a usb port for just about anything.. dont have to keep them for specific items of hardwear.

as an example, i use one usb port for five different items.

thanks funkymoped but it dosent matter what usb port i use it happens in all of then 4 in back 2 in front thanks again 4 in back go straight onto motherboard have updated motherboard driver no good still happens thanks again
