Song extractor

Hi, bit of a long shot here, but does anyone know of any freeware or software that can remove the songs from an advert or music video, just so that you have the song in a playable format without the advert. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I think the above prog might record every sound coming out of your sound card, including any music you're playing, mouse clicks, shutdown music, email notification, error beeps etc.
If that's the case, I'd use this :

as it will record only the audio from a video clip that you specify rather than every background noise also coming out of your speakers

Is TMPGEnc able to capture the audio track from a Streaming Flash video?

I believe this is the primary purpose of sponge12's request based on this thread.

You might be onto a winner there! There's a trial prog called "Record Anything" which is REALLY good in that it measures out the settings for you : others expect you to have some expertise.

If you want the music off that Oz advert, go with the above (or just get better taste in music!)
