Hi i just brought a wireless card for my laptop BELKIN when i insert the card the laptop freezes what am i doing wrong

probably a stupid question, did you install the software first?

yes installed all software first its as soon as i push it into the slot it freezes everything until i pull it back out

I had this problem with my bt laptop card, I have windows xp and it kept freezing upon startup after I entered my password to get in.

Open start, then run, then type msconfig, and it opens the startups, try unchecking the belkin option and restart so that you know if it is actually that, if it is, then maybe your computer is not powerful enough for the laptop card and software.
