Channel 5

My mate has just bought a new telly [Toshiba 20" IDTV]. Previously he picked up channel 5 nae bother, but he can't get it tuned on his new telly.

Any suggestions ??

When channel 5 first came out I remember many TVs used the same channel as channel 5 to link to their Video recorder.

Try re-tuning the TV - Video link channel to another channel.

I think this is only a problem if your TV is linked to your video by aerial lead, not by scart lead.

Or temporarily remove the video player from the setup just to see if you can then get Ch 5

We are presently having problems receiving Channel 5 via Sky (and the aerial picture is poor) but they have emailed to say that there are no rception problems, saying to contact Sky!!! May have to get an engineer out.
