is it easy and safe to make an external hard drive into an internal one by opening the casing and connecting to the inside of the computer...
can anyone explain..i have heard it is a simple process...i have a freecom classic 80GB

BUT have you any experience of opening up PC cases and making changes.
Do you know where and how to fix the hard drive inside the case ?
Do you know where to get the power from ?.
Have you a spare ICE connector inside the case ?
Is it going to be the master or slave drive ?
Do you know how to switch it from master to slave or vice versa ?.
Make sure you know what you are doing before you start.
