Backup texts from a SPV C500 to PC

Does anyone know of a program I can download (preferably free!) that will backup all of the text messages on my Orange SPV C500?

Have investigated Sprite but about �20 - Jeyo promises to do it, but doesn't seem to work (trial version anyway)

Any suggestions gratefully accepted! Thanks
