We have 2 DVD players, but only one is a recorder.

We sometimes want to watch a recorded DVD on the other player, which is fine except that it freezes every 10 minutes and the only way to continue is to turn it off and on again and FF to where you were?

Hi...when you record your DVD's and finalize the discs does your DVD recorder automaticly put chapters into what you have recorded? Have you tryed your recorded discs on any other DVD players? If you have and the same thing happens it sounds like a fault with your DVD recorder. Try putting in you recorded DVD in your player (the 1 that freezes) and skip ahead 1 chapter. Does it skip to the part where the player normaly locks up?
