"Can I download the internet to disk so i don't have to keep dialling up?",

was one of my favourites.

Here is a rather amusing page where it tries to download the whole interent.

Leave it running for about 30 seconds (it is a safe page, nothing is going to happen to your PC).

Two I can think of was where the people asked a question but gave so little information it was impossible to answer.

One was "how much was my house worth in 1991" (complete question)

The other was

"How much money will I need to take to Disneyland Paris (again complete question)

Is there a stargate in Iraq? Which was followed by possibly the funniest answer i've read on here. This involved LouDickson calling the stargate a WMD (Weapon of Mass Displacement).Very smart and funny.
I find all these questions that could be answered in a trice by Googling very annoying. It's like they just can't be bothered to go and look something up when they can get another ABer to do the research for them.

Does anyone have a recipe for...? Have you looked for one? Who wrote .... in ....? Who was the president of ... 1955 to 1973? Have you actually looked anywhere to try and find out?

And the homework ones! Oh dear! GO AND FIND OUT - you're supposed to be doing the homework, not some ABer.
Also it is very annoying when you ask a question and then people answer it as if it were a different one.
