I am thinking about buying a sky link so I can watch sky in another room. I see there on ebay for a 5. Do they really work and give a good picture? I would love to hear from someone that has one.

Fantastic piece of kit - the only issue is that you've got to run aerial cable from the back of the sky box to whichever room you want watch tv in....picture is the same standard as far as I can see....

To watch sky in another room all you need is the co-ax cable. What the link does is to allow you to change sky channels from that other room. Also note that you can only view the same channel that is being viewed in the primary room (where the sky box is). Check out this site http://www.thedigiboxshop.com/index.html

So do i need a cable going from my tv room (where my sky box is) all the way up to my bedroom where my second tv is?

Yes you will need a cable - probably up the outside of your house - back into the loft - and down into your bedroom.

The other (more expensive 50/60) option is to buy a wireless audio/video sender (two units - one plugged into your sky box & one into your bedroom tv) this should also allow remote control access from your bedroom to your sky box.
