Hi jmahdavi (hope people are not sick to death hearing about my alarm system and talktalk) Its just that they are switching us on sometime in May and we are going on holiday so do not want the alarm triggering. The system is NOT recare(i know that much) When speaking to ADT they say as long as they (talktalk) do not physically touch the phone line, there will be no problems. We already have phone and broadband from talktalk and when it was first installed we had a few probs with the alarm bleeping for no apparent reason. The ADT engineer came out and did something and everythings been ok since. So they only buy the rights from BT, nothing else? I can go on holiday without worrying that my house is surrounded by police every two minutes?.
