Get a decent text editor (read: emacs, or SciTE or something), and start coding stuff in raw HTML and CSS!
As for the actual answer to the question.. do as kerplunk says. Tends to fix things on windows.

didn't mean to come across as slating you - honest! Dreamweaver is an excellent package, but even that's unneccesary if you take an hour or two basic html lessons - even get the 'dummies' guide. Then you can write in notepad (free on your pc already) and save as html webpages. Html is the language used in web design - for an example, look up to the top of your screen now, go to view, then source. It'll show you the language behind this page, but don't be put off - most of what's in there is code from an application like dreamweaver or frontpage or whatever they used designing this page. HTML is actually really easy, honest
Hi I was a web designer which paid for my accountancy courses. Again I learned it myself through lots of practise. Having Frontpage is excellent and more cost effective for you to use whilst starting out. For me with web design I thought of the whole process as a jigsaw and what made the difference was having a really really good program for creating and editing images which I used Macromedia Fireworks and then placed everything together with text content in Frontpage. I did have dreamweaver eventually because it ties in well with Fireworks.
It's not the web layout software that makes a good designer as the purpose is to input code, make tables and edits. It's all about the grpahical 'look' of the site and how everything is co-ordinated together. I was called choosedesign.co.uk, and since being qualified in accountancy (a more stable career choice paid for by webdesign & logodesign's) I have given it up and released the domain name
