Help with unblocking Panasonic x70 mobile phone?

I bought a panasonic x70 mobile phone on contract a couple of years ago and then I couldn't pay my bill for some time and the phone was cut off, I have now paid the bill but not re-registered the sim card, when I turn on the phone to try and get to my numbers it gains signal and then says 'security failure, SOS calls only'. I really want to get into my phone for numbers and photos and was wondering if there is a code or something I can put in to unlock the phone, I would really appreciate any help.

Any little hardware store in your local town should be able to do it for you, usually for around �10. Ask around, there will definitely be something in your area.
