no sky progremme on dvdr selection

i cannot record sky programmes on my dvdr as there is no sky selection on the dvd i have bbc1 bbc2 itv ch 4 ch 5 prog6,7,8,9,10 and lines 1,2,3,4 can you help

I'm sure you can.

Turn your dvd recorder on and make sure sky is switched on.

Change channels on your dvd to either EXT 2, EXT 3 or AV 1 until the sky channel is showing on your tv.

Let's say it's EXT 2. To record a programme you will probably have to do it manually.

Set the dvd to record EXT 2 and set the date and time. You will have to make sure the Sky is tuned to the channel you want recording.

You will not be able to watch a different sky channel while recording but could watch a terrestrial programme through your aerial.
