I know nothing about computers. Have a problem with the internet connection, it keeps coming up telling me "unable to connect" after I actually get into the web site. ie connect to Tesco.com, sign in then it says unable to connect. Can anybody tell me what the problem is?

Windows XP and I think the browser is Firewall

Its presumably Firefox (as opposed to firewall;-)) - there are some sites that still are specifically designed to be read using Internet explorer and this "could" be one reason - I wouldnt have thought you should have a problem with Tesco though. One possibility that their site was down at that time another more likely one is your security settings - on firefox have alook at Tools>options>General>connection settings - this should possibly show "direct connection to the internet"
