We are looking for a present for my boyfriends Dads birthday, he wants an easy to use quite large MP3 player, but our budget is only 65. I have tried searching with no luck, the only thing i've found close is the sony walkman nwa1000n but its around 150 way out of budget! does anyone have one that would fit this criteria or any suggestions where to look? any help would be greatly appreciated! x

i bought the Creative 512mb mp3 and WMA player from argos at 60. its brilliant. I dont think they do it anymore, but look on there website and click on there special offers part under the mp3 player section.

I can recommend a Philips 'Shocbox' - PSS110

It is much more than just an mp3 player (radio, alarm etc) and not too 'fiddley'
There is currently one going on ebay where they generaly go for around 50.
Put 'pss100 review' into a search engine to see!

(Ipaid 70 at Xmas for one from Amazon)

Good luck
Thought about the iPod Shuffle? It's within your price range, and is very easy to use, both on the computer managing his music and the device itself (in fact, I can't imagine anything being much easier to use). Only short-coming is that is hasn't got a screen, but if he wants to just listen to his music and skip tracks and things, it's the easier player to use.
