I've had itunes and quicktime on my computer for the last 2 years and they've worked perfectly but recently bout a month ago when I downloaded the updated versions, when i go to play a track it starts skipping and doesnt play clearly at all. (these tracks can be played through windows media player and winamp just fine but just dont play clearly in itunes or quicktime). the same goes for listening or watching songs online that use quicktime video or the player. How do i get them to stop skipping and play clear again? thanx.

I always had problems when I updated iTunes. It seems to be Quicktime that causes the problem. The way I get round it is to remove the original program completely via the control panel (including Quicktime) and then download the new version from scratch. I hope that works for you.

What does that do to my songs in itunes then? if I uninstall quicktime and itunes then re-install them do my songs just stay in itunes yeah? thanx.

Your songs are stored on your computer, iTunes is merely a player just like Windows Media Player or RealPlayer and will be shown on iTunes again when you reload, it provided you make it your default player.
