My current phone bill is �1-�2 per month with BT land line. I was thinking of getting a PAYG mobile. What company gives the best deal for such a low user as myself

I'd say Tesco. Their choice of phones isn,t brilliant (they are usually older models) but call charges are low in comparison to others

Try NTL as they have a reputation for being cheap.

you miss the point guys. I don't have and never have had a mobile phone. I hear rumours that some companies take your unused credit at the end of the month if you don't use it. I also hear that some companies charge twice as much as others per call. As a pensioner I'm only looking for the best deal
