hp pavilion desktop

i have a two day old hp palivion desktop and now find that the hp flatbed scanner which i bought a couple of months ago does not seem to be compatible

the flatbed allows me to copy but not to scan, any help appreciated nothing wrong with the scanner as i use it with another machine.

<DIV>This is the link for driver updates from HP. Just type in Scanner details and you should pick up some new drivers. I don't think it will incompatible as you suggest unless it won't cope with XP but if it's only 2 months old that's not going to be the case.
