If you are using Internet Explorer, try this link to remove Yahoo! Toolbar

Good luck

I've got the same problem (I didn't even download it, it just appeared) and it isn't listed in add/remove programs. I have tried searching for files with Yahoo! in the title and deleting them but it's still there!

This isn't a perfect solution, but it should disable it:

I presume you are using Internet Explorer? If so, go into Tools > Manage Add Ons. Select the Yahoo toolbar from the list and click disable at the bottom of the screen. Then close and reopen your browser - it should be gone.

G'Day

Do you have Acrobat Reader installed? Adobe has put the Yahoo! toolbar in with the Reader download. Unless you remove the tick before clicking Download you get it - like it or not. There may be an option during the install of reader to not install the toolbar, I forget. You may be able to uninstall reader and try reinstalling it, looking to see if you can skip the toolbar install. Other than that the only thing I can think of is to uninstall reader and redownload the installer without the additional crap - approx 20.3MB.
