Motorola V3i troubleshooting!!

I have this phone and the ear piece doesnt appear to be working. I dont think I have damaged it and its only a week old. Any ideas on what might be stopping it from working? Before I send it back on monday.

I hate to say this but my friend used to work for CPW and said that Motorola were the worst phones to buy. I remember I had my eye on one once and she practically sent me out the shop!


Apparently, they'd get returned nearly every week with faults.
