ive bought an original copy of microsoft office 2000 off ebay but ive been told (how relaiably i don't know) that i need some service packs to go with it as the original was flawed.


does anyone know anything about this and where i can get the service pack from?

Service packs are simply downloads that 'fix' existing glitches or bugs, or improve the original software.

Not sure how it works for office 2000

with office 2003, you can have problems.
If you've got MSOffice, and you install just from main disk, you lose A LOT of functionality unless you also install service pack 2 (SP2) - not sure whether this is downloadable or you just get it eith the later versions of the software
